I have heard about using the cotton thread method where you stuff it down the spark plug hole and rotate the engine.
This special tool has to be long enough to tighten in the sparkplug well. I have a compressor and will be using. The smart thing to do is buy a QUALITY metal valve stem, pull the wheel.
Replace the inner valves when finished.
Set the parking brake, and then raise the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. . .
